Hi, welcome to my website.
I am a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Barcelona and a pre-doctoral researcher at the Quantitative Analysis Research group (AQR).
My doctoral dissertation evaluates the functioning of the Spanish regional labour markets in three different aspects: unemployment sensitivity, internal migration and convergence. More specifically, my first study analyses the differences between Spanish provinces in terms of unemployment sensitivity to economic variations and highlights the underlying causes behind the provincial heterogeneity in the unemployment response to shocks. In my second paper, I analyse the role that labour market factors exert in internal migration for the recent recessive period. And finally, my third work evaluates the influence of migration on regional convergence.
Previously to this, I developed my research activity at the University of Valencia, where I studied my master degree. My master dissertation was on the organizational economics field and it was published in a JCR journal.
Labour economics, regional differences, demographical economics and organizational economics.
